Break-in Reported in Aliveri on New Year’s Eve
On New Year’s Eve, a 63-year-old homeowner reported a break-in at his residence in Aliveri, Greece. Unknown intruders forced entry through the main door, stealing 300 pounds worth approximately 180,000 euros, valuable jewelry, and 30 euros in cash. The retired Public Power Corporation employee was notified about the incident by the owner of a neighboring store while he was away. An investigative team has examined the crime scene for DNA evidence and fingerprints, and inquiries are ongoing.
