A man in his fifties was brutally beaten to death in Apt, Vaucluse, on January 1st. Paramedics found him unconscious in the street with multiple injuries, and he later died in the hospital. Authorities have opened a murder investigation and identified a suspect, also in his fifties, who was apprehended on a train heading to Paris. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
