Caelan Doris Nominated for World Rugby Men’s Player of the Year Award
Ireland’s Caelan Doris, the Leinster number eight, has been nominated for the prestigious World Rugby men’s player of the year award. He is joined by South African players Eben Etzebeth, Cheslin Kolbe, and Pieter-Steph du Toit. Doris played a crucial role in Ireland’s Six Nations title this year and leads as team captain. Other nominations include Jamie Osborne for breakthrough player of the year and Terry Kennedy for sevens player of the year. Voting for the public nominations opens until November 20, with winners announced on November 24.
