Giannis Roussos, the president of the Cyclades Chamber of Commerce, highlighted the urgent need to redesign inter-island ferry routes in an interview. He noted that the current schedules, established 25 years ago, fail to meet the daily needs of citizens and the transport requirements between the islands. The Chamber is preparing a comprehensive restructuring plan to be submitted to the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy, followed by a meeting with stakeholders to reach a consensus on the proposed changes.
