In response to a tragic incident in Xanthi, the need for better healthcare infrastructure in the region, particularly at the Alexandroupolis University Hospital, is being highlighted. Peter Ketikidis, a member of the Supervisory Committee, urged politicians and local authorities to support the demand for flexible pediatric ICU units with 3-4 beds. He emphasized the importance of preserving human lives and improving the region’s demographic and social standing through adequate healthcare facilities.
