Celebrating 100 Years of the Brändli Bombe: A Swiss Chocolate Delight

The Brändli Bombe, a cherished Swiss chocolate delicacy created in 1924, celebrates its 100th anniversary. Originating from Aarau, the praline was designed for the national shooting festival and has since garnered royal acclaim, notably from Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. Handmade using a traditional recipe, about 120,000 Brändli Bombes are produced annually, each crafted meticulously over three days. The family-run Confiserie Brändli remains dedicated to maintaining the quality and heritage of this iconic treat, which has remained unchanged for a century.
