The University of Ioannina is hosting a groundbreaking cartoon exhibition to celebrate its 60th anniversary. Notable contemporary cartoonists, Ilia Makris, Andreas Petroulakis, and Stathis Stavropoulos, will present their works and engage with the community. Titled ‘The Democracy of Education and the Education of Democracy,’ the exhibition opens on November 9 and runs until November 26, 2024. Admission is free, with operating hours from 11:00 to 13:00 and 18:00 to 20:00 daily. The event promises to bring a unique blend of artistry and social commentary to the region.
