Celebrating Saint Genevieve of Paris on January 3rd
On January 3rd, the feast day honors Saint Genevieve of Paris, remembered for her piety and spiritual contributions. Born around 419 AD in Nanterre, near Paris, she felt a calling to monastic life from a young age. After the death of her parents, she was ordained a nun and achieved spiritual heights. Saint Genevieve passed away peacefully at the age of 93, and her remains were interred in the Church of the Holy Apostles in Paris, which is named in her honor.
