Celebrating the Feast Day of Saint Patapios in Loutraki
On December 8th, the church honors the memory of Saint Patapios, who was born in Egypt and led a life of charity and spiritual guidance. After distributing his inheritance to the poor, he retreated to the desert for prayer and good deeds. His reputation for miracles spread, and he established a monastery in Constantinople. Following his death, his relics were protected and later rediscovered. The site remains a place of pilgrimage and reverence in Loutraki, Greece.
