Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, established in 2014 by American author and entrepreneur Wendy Diamond, is celebrated annually on November 19 in 144 countries. The initiative aims to support women entrepreneurs through a global movement and a network of influential women ambassadors. Despite a higher number of women in Europe, women entrepreneurs represent only one-third of the self-employed in the EU due to various challenges. Recently, a meeting for small and medium enterprises took place in Budapest to address these issues.
