On New Year’s Eve, Chania’s Town Hall was alive with festive melodies as residents young and old sang traditional New Year’s carols. Mayor Panagiotis Simandirakis, along with local officials, welcomed the Philharmonic members and dancers who performed the carols accompanied by traditional instruments. The Mayor offered traditional treats and wished everyone a happy and healthy New Year, filled with optimism.
