The city of Agios Nikolaos celebrated its patron saint with a vibrant religious ceremony attended by numerous locals despite rain. The event featured a divine liturgy led by Father Vasilis, attended by local officials including Mayor Manolis Menegakis and MP Katerina Spyridaki. A procession followed the service, accompanied by the city’s philharmonic, concluding with a blessing of the waters. The event also highlighted the presence of local fishermen’s families and planned activities such as sailing races in honor of Saint Nikolaos.
