China Issues 6 Billion Yuan Bonds in Hong Kong

The Ministry of Finance of China has issued 6 billion yuan (approximately 790 million euros) in bonds within the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). The bond issuance includes maturities of 2, 3, and 5 years, with each offering valued at 2 billion yuan (260 million euros). The bonds feature interest rates of 1.7% and 1.8%, depending on the maturity period. Investor interest was high, with total bids exceeding the issuance value by 3.58 times.
