Chinese Scientists Develop Innovative Sunscreen That Keeps Skin Cool
Scientists in China have developed a novel sunscreen that protects against UV radiation while keeping skin cool in summer. Utilizing a radiant cooling approach, this sunscreen reduces skin temperature by 4.2 to 6 degrees Celsius and features an SPF 51 rating. The formulation includes six ingredients such as deionized water and titanium dioxide nanoparticles, which are safe for use. Priced at approximately $0.92 per 10 grams, researchers believe this product can help protect against increasing heat waves due to climate change.
