On Christmas Eve, the Cave of Saint John the Hermit in Marathokefala, Chania hosted a profound Divine Liturgy commemorating the Nativity of Christ. Despite inclement weather, numerous worshippers gathered to experience the reenactment of the Nativity scene, complete with sheep, shepherds, and a shining star.
