Christmas Table Prices Expected to Rise Slightly This Year, Says Consumer Institute Representative

Panaigiotis Georgiadis, a representative of the Consumers Institute NEA INKA, discussed the expected prices for this year’s Christmas table in an interview with ERTNews. He noted a slight decrease in supermarket prices for cleaning and personal care products, but anticipated increases in meat prices due to livestock decreases from recent animal diseases. The overall price increase for food is not expected to be as severe as last year, despite some categories like sweets experiencing significant price hikes.
