Starting December 14, 2024, the Christmas train in Ptolemaida will commence its routes, allowing passengers to explore the city’s modern history through five key locations. Sponsored by the Public Power Corporation (DEH), the train will operate daily, with morning and afternoon schedules. Passengers are advised to maintain social distancing and adhere to safety protocols at the boarding station on the market square. The service will continue until January 6, 2025, coinciding with various local Christmas events.
