Christos Kellas Discusses Measures Against Animal Diseases in Greece

He acknowledged incidents of negligence among some farmers and outlined the government’s response, including a preliminary investigation by the Volos Prosecutor’s Office. Kellas detailed the compensation process for affected livestock farmers, totaling 13.3 million euros, and highlighted long-term solutions to rising agricultural production costs, including reduced fuel taxes and stable electricity prices.
