CIA Official Arrested in Cambodia Over Classified Document Leak
Asif William Rahman, a CIA official, was arrested by the FBI in Cambodia for allegedly leaking classified documents about Israel’s retaliation plans against Iran following a missile attack. Charged with willful retention and transmission of national defense information, Rahman is expected in a federal court in Guam. The charges arise from leaks dated around October 17, linked to a pro-Iranian Telegram account that shared sensitive satellite imagery and operational details of a potential Israeli strike on Iran. The CIA, while acknowledging the investigation, has declined to comment further.
