Commemoration of Saints Aethelas and Akepseus on December 11
On December 11, the memory of Saints Aethelas and Akepseus is commemorated, who hailed from Arbil in Persia. Aethelas, a bishop, and Akepseus, a deacon, were known for their unwavering Christian faith that led them to preach the Gospel daily. They were martyred after enduring severe tortures for their beliefs. Additionally, today marks the International Mountain Day.
