Community Gathers to Honor Victims of Tarwekamp Explosions in The Hague

A week after the devastating explosions at Tarwekamp, over 200 residents and helpers gathered at a private meeting in the Adventkerk in The Hague to share their grief and support one another. The event, attended by Mayor Jan van Zanen and councilor Robert Barker, was informal and focused on listening to the community’s needs. Discussions emphasized the emotional impact of the disaster, while four suspects have been arrested for their involvement in the incident. A firework ban during the upcoming New Year’s celebration has been implemented to help the community heal.
