The Corfu Correctional Facility has successfully completed an innovative inmate education program aimed at facilitating the reintegration of released prisoners into society and the labor market. Sixty inmates participated in four comprehensive training programs, including management, small business operations, facility maintenance, and IT skills. The courses included 300 hours of training featuring professional counseling and technical skill development. Most participants successfully completed the program and received nationally recognized certifications.
