Konstantinos Tasoulas, the President of the Hellenic Parliament, emphasized the significance of the ‘Ioannina-Kakavia’ project during a meeting in Epirus. This project is expected to complete the Ionian Road and strengthen the connection between Epirus and the Greek-Albanian border. The signed contract, set to be endorsed by the Prime Minister, aims to improve local infrastructure and accessibility, benefiting nearby municipalities. Tasoulas noted the importance of local mayors’ input in future developments within the Ioannina region.
