Greek MP Alexandros Meikopoulos of SYRIZA-PS raised concerns about the government’s delay in implementing tourism support measures, including the Thessaly Pass, following environmental challenges faced by the region. Despite promises made months ago, the local tourism sector is anxiously awaiting government action to enhance tourism in Magnesia, particularly in light of significant losses from cancellations and decreased visitors. Meikopoulos called for transparent communication from relevant ministers about the timeline and effectiveness of promised support.
