Concerns Rise Over Staffing Shortages in Western Macedonia Hospitals

Leónidas Stoltidis, a member of the Greek Communist Party, has raised urgent concerns about staffing shortages in the surgical clinics of Western Macedonia’s general hospitals. He highlighted the unsafe conditions for both patients and medical staff, who often face exhausting commutes and long hours without adequate rest. Stoltidis is calling on the Minister of Health to address these issues by filling vacant positions permanently and ensuring the conversion of temporary contracts into stable positions, thereby improving working conditions and healthcare delivery in the region.
