Extensive excavations in the Saint John forest in Plessia have sparked worries within the municipality of Northern Tzoumerka. Local officials Pantelis Vlachos and Spyros Athanasopoulos filed a complaint with the Police Department, suspecting the organized digs are linked to treasure hunting activities. The area showed signs of deep rectangular holes, leading residents to believe there is an organized network involved. The police have already conducted inspections, and relevant authorities have been informed about the situation.
