The testimonies of 20 defendants involved in a corruption case surrounding the municipal building services of Sithonia and N. Propontida in Chalkidiki concluded late Saturday. All defendants were released under various conditions, including cash guarantees ranging from €5,000 to €100,000. Among the accused are municipal employees and architects, all of whom deny the charges related to organized crime and bribery. The final testimony is scheduled for Monday from the head of the Building Service in N. Propontida.
