Conference on Orthodox Christian Tradition in Cyprus Organized by Greek Orthodox Church
A conference titled ‘The Orthodox Christian Tradition of Cyprus from the Time of Apostle Paul to Today’ will be held by the Committee of Cultural Identity of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece. Led by Professor Manolis Barbounis, it commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus and the subsequent destruction of Orthodox Christian cultural treasures. The event will take place on December 13-14, in person at the Synodic Palace in Athens and online.
