Conservation Efforts: White-tailed Eagles to Be Released in Exmoor National Park
Exmoor National Park plans to release additional white-tailed eagles as part of a conservation initiative led by the Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation and Forestry England. Since the project’s inception in 2019, 37 eagles have been released, with successful breeding occurring for the first time in 2023. Conservationists highlight Exmoor’s suitable habitat and abundant prey for these iconic birds. Engagement events will be organized to update the public on the project’s progress.
