A significant agreement for the construction of a marina in Pylaia, Thessaloniki, was signed today between the Ministry of Tourism and the local municipality. Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni and Mayor Ignatios Kaitetziadis finalized the contract, which is part of a long-term effort that is expected to cost over €50 million. The project aims to boost marine tourism and create jobs in the region. The local council unanimously supports the initiative as part of a broader redevelopment of the Thermaic Gulf coastal area.
