The president of the Waste Management Authority of the Peloponnese, Giannis Smyrniotis, announced that construction projects for seven Waste Transfer Stations have been auctioned, with proposals for eight additional stations submitted through the ESPA program. Two stations are already operational in Spathovouni and Nea Kios. The authority aims to enhance its administrative capacity and certified management of waste, alongside rapid advancements in recycling and waste separation.
