Stefanos Poulimenos, the Mayor of Central Corfu, has signed contracts for four significant infrastructure projects aimed at addressing storm damage from Cyclone Balos in 2021. The projects include road repairs in Vasilika-Danilia and Gerakari, along with vital support interventions for landslide-prone areas in Upper Garouna, Upper Kompitsi, Kontoyalos, and Evropoulos. Additionally, a minor enhancement will take place in the village of Chorevtario Nymphon. These initiatives reflect a substantial financial investment into improving local infrastructure.
