With just 50 days left until the Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, scheduled from February 11 to 23, preparations are in full swing. Jürg Capol, the event’s CEO, emphasizes the need for realistic promotion efforts, engaging with the audience directly at the World Cup event in France. Despite the lack of a strong biathlon tradition in Switzerland, organizers aim to sell 50,000 tickets, with 33,000 already sold. Capol anticipates 6,000 to 7,000 fans will travel from France to support the event.
