Jixu Wang and Ye Wang, a married couple, have been remanded in custody after being charged with laundering millions of euro. The couple, aged 35 and 34, respectively, appeared before Judge John Campbell at the Dublin District Court. They were arrested following a search of their apartment as part of an international investigation involving Europol. The Gardaí opposed bail due to the seriousness of the charges, leading the judge to remand Mr. Wang to Cloverhill Prison and Mrs. Wang to Mountjoy Female Prison. Both are scheduled to return to court on Wednesday.
