Scott Jeff has been convicted of the murder of two-year-old Isabella Jonas-Wheildon, whose mother, Chelsea Gleason-Mitchell, admitted to child cruelty charges. The couple subjected Isabella to severe abuse before disguising her death and taking her body shopping in a pushchair. Toxicology reports indicated drug exposure in Isabella’s system, raising concerns about her care prior to her death. Both defendants attempted to shift blame onto each other during the trial, but evidence revealed the extent of the injuries allegedly caused by Jeff. They are scheduled for sentencing on December 13.
