Greek authorities have successfully disrupted a drug trafficking organization composed mainly of AEK football club hooligans, following investigations led by Europol. Using decrypted communications from drug trafficking groups, the police have identified and arrested over twenty individuals involved in the distribution of cannabis and cocaine. The operations also resulted in the apprehension of a corrupt police officer who assisted the traffickers. Ongoing investigations are expected to lead to further law enforcement actions and drug seizures.
