A man in his 40s is in critical condition following a hit-and-run accident in Dublin last night. The incident occurred on Lower Rathmines Road around 9 PM when a car struck the pedestrian, who was subsequently transported to St James’ Hospital. Gardaí are investigating the situation and are appealing for witnesses as the vehicle involved did not remain at the scene.
