Deadly Israeli Airstrike Claims 30 Lives in Lebanon’s Barja
A recent Israeli airstrike in Barja, south of Beirut, has left at least 30 people dead, according to Lebanon’s Civil Defence agency. The strike targeted an apartment building housing displaced individuals, resulting in significant destruction and sparking a fire. Survivors reported no evacuation warnings prior to the attack. Among the deceased are notable victims, including seven women and three children. The Israeli military stated the strike targeted Hezbollah infrastructure. Following the incident, further airstrikes occurred in other regions, intensifying fears of escalating violence.
