Charitable donations to Ukraine have significantly decreased as the country enters a third winter of war, according to various aid organizations. The head of ‘Kinderhilfe Ukraine Rhein-Neckar,’ Valentyna Sobetska, notes that public fatigue around the conflict contributes to this decline. In 2022, over 250 million euros were donated, contrasted by just 10 million euros in 2024 so far. Aid groups stress the continued importance of support, especially for essential supplies like clothing and medical products as the humanitarian need intensifies this winter.
