Delegation from Central Macedonia Meets Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Istanbul
A delegation from the Central Macedonia Municipal Association visited the Ecumenical Patriarchate to celebrate the feast of Saint Andrew, the founder of the Church of Constantinople. Mayors, led by Ignatios Kaitetzidis, presented a symbolic olive branch to Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew during a significant religious service. The delegation also attended a concert honoring the Patriarch’s 33 years of leadership, emphasizing the importance of cultural and educational contributions of the Zografio School to the Greek diaspora.
