Deliberations Begin in Trial of Irish Rugby Players in Alleged Gang Rape Case

A jury in France has begun deliberations in the trial of three Irish rugby players accused of gang raping a 20-year-old woman in 2017. Denis Coulson, Chris Farrell, and Dylan Hayes face serious charges, while two others are accused of failing to prevent the crime. All five defendants deny the allegations, claiming any sexual activity was consensual. The trial is being held behind closed doors, with a verdict expected later today.
