Democratic Representative Rosa DeLauro has claimed that Republicans in Congress are safeguarding Elon Musk’s investments in China by eliminating provisions that restrict U.S. investments. In a letter, DeLauro pointed out Musk’s extensive investments in strategic sectors in China and his ties to the Chinese Communist Party leadership, questioning his opposition to federal funding legislation. Tesla has not yet commented on the matter.
