Den Haag Deploys Innovative Jellyfishbot to Clean Iconic Hofvijver
The municipality of The Hague has introduced a remote-controlled Jellyfishbot to clean litter from the Hofvijver, a prominent pond near the Binnenhof. This initiative aims to improve water quality and biodiversity in the area. The electric robot is designed to detect and collect waste, while also mapping the pond’s bottom. Currently, a one-year trial is underway, potentially paving the way for broader implementation across the city.
