The Regional Governor of the South Aegean, Giorgos Chatzimarkos, has approved the integration of a project aimed at enhancing the tourist experience in the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Medieval City of Rhodes. The initiative, entitled ‘Digital Tour Guide for the Medieval City of Rhodes,’ will receive funding support from the European Regional Development Fund, amounting to €200,000, and will include various innovative digital features such as 3D models and virtual reality applications.
