As of December 30, taxpayers and notaries in Greece can now submit initial Property Transfer Tax (ΦΜΑ) declarations digitally through the myProperty platform, as per the recent decision by George Pitsilidis, the head of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue. The new functionality aims to expedite transactions involving horizontal and vertical property ownership, facilitating easier administration of tax declarations, especially in areas with objective value assessments.
