The implementation of digital applications in Greece is significantly accelerating citizen services and reducing pending requests to the tax authorities. In just the first two days of a new business process shutdown application, 1,450 related procedures were completed. As these digital solutions expand, pending requests are expected to diminish greatly, particularly in regions outside of Attica. Officials estimate that with ongoing improvements, the backlog of tax-related requests will be resolved quickly, enhancing efficiency and accessibility for the public.
