Dimitris Chronis, an athlete from the Ioannina Runners Club, has made history by becoming the first Greek to earn the coveted 7th Star medal, completing all major marathons worldwide. His latest achievement came with his participation in the Sydney Marathon, recently added to the World Major Marathons roster. This milestone officially recognizes him as one of the elite marathon runners, with the 7th medal to be issued this year by Abbott to only 1,800 finishers of the global age group championship.
