Dinosaur Footprints Discovered in Oxfordshire: A Rare Paleontological Find
Nearly 200 dinosaur footprints, dating back 166 million years, have been discovered this summer in an Oxfordshire quarry, marking the largest site of its kind ever revealed in the UK. The findings, including tracks from sauropods and megalosaurs, will be featured in the BBC Two archaeology show ‘Digging for Britain’ on January 8. The long trails offer insights into Jurassic-era dinosaur behavior, and the discovery is considered one of the largest collections of footprints in the world.
