The Director of Primary Education in Zakynthos, Athanasios Katsimpelis, has filed a complaint against the president of the local teachers’ union and the Workers’ Center’s president, accusing them of making direct threats against his life and the safety of educational staff. This follows a protest against teacher evaluations and disciplinary actions against eight educators. Katsimpelis highlighted the hostile climate faced by teachers and called on authorities to ensure their safety amidst a growing culture of intimidation.
