On December 15, twenty tons of extra virgin olive oil with 0.2 acidity were distributed to 960 families in Katerini, Greece, at a price of 7 euros per liter. This initiative, led by the Voluntary Action Group of Pieria, aimed to support low-income families and combat price gouging. The distribution process was completed in just three hours, showcasing excellent organization. The action will be repeated on January 12 with olive oil of the same high quality.
